Photographer Murray Freer preparing to develop giant photographic prints for use on Manukau City Council's float in the Auckland City Centennial Cavalcade. The Manukau City float featured Mr Freer's photographs of a variety of rural and urban scenes in Manukau City. Because his existing facilities were not large enough to process the required prints, Mr Freer built this improvised tank late at night in the backyard of his studio.
