Private collection of Brad Feuerhelm Atomic cloud starts its way up to the fire ball in this last atomic explosion in this series. This picture was made with a 40-inch lense on top of Mt. Charleston approximately 50 miles away, 45 seconds after it was dropped by an air force plane. Rabbits and pigs were used in the test.
