From a French series titled "Épreuve a Mouvement", which can be translated as motion studies. Theoretically, by blinking your eyes, mouvement should be suggested. They were original published around 1860 on brown mounts and numbered by hand in pen and ink. Denis Pellerin lists Charles Paul Furne (1842-1880) and Henri Tournier as the publisher of the original series. According to Denis 38 views were published in the series. Pellerin, Denis. La photography stéréoscopique sous le second Empire. Bibliothèque nationale de France, (Paris 1995).
