Albumen print by Franþois Aubert, ca. 1863 - 1867, on a board mount with Aubert's Mexico stamp on the mount recto. Aubert was a French photographer who established a studio in Mexico in 1864, and became a favored photographer for Emperor Maximilian until the Emperor's execution in 1867. A carefully arranged grouping of 7 figures, members of Maximilian's entourage.
