George Rodger was a co-founder of the Magnum photo agency in 1947. He had previously worked for the Black Star agency and between 1939 - 1945 he was a war correspondent for Life magazine. Rodger was one of the first photographers to arrive at the concentration camp Bergen-Belsen which caused him great trauma.
