In the original bromide print the ascending central figuration carried the deepest tonal values, then tossing them towards the edges. This just did not feel right. Using the expression "feel" rather than "look", I am implying that the forces of intuition rather than cold intellectual calculations take over and guide my eye and brushwork more often than not."
