This was the alias of William Chadwell, one of the Jesse James Younger Brothers gang who was killed in the 1876 raid. 3 +" x 2 1/8" gelatin-silver print on a 5 ยข" x 4 +" gray mount with the Sumner & Son blindstamp. He has been propped up showing the blood stains under the bullet hole. "Styles" written in pen above the print. This is the same image as one of the CDV's in the Swann Lot, that were probably made by Sumner. (Larry Gottheim)
