The pulling of the boards (from the copper plates) has been performed in the workshops of Mr. Charles Wittmann and that of the text (letterpress) by the printing works Chaix.
 
The term "boards" refers to the actual paper photographic plate reproduction produced. These were individually hand printed and "pulled" on vellum paper from a copper-plate press.
