Digital image Private collection of Pablo Delano This camera was owned by Jack Delano and is almost certainly the camera he is holding in the portrait where he is shown on the cow catcher of train engine 3210 (Library of Congress, Prints and Photographs Division, LC-USZ62-120966). The lens on the camera is missing as Pablo Delano writes:
"The terrible condition is due to years of storage in tropical climate. I have no idea where the lens went though I think he was using it for a while on a view camera." (Email from Pablo Delano to Alan Griffiths, October 21, 2009).
