Photograph of a British cemetery near Sevastopol. The gravestones, of different shapes and sizes, are arranged in loose rows and surrounded by rocks of varying sizes. Behind the graves there is a stone wall with a flagpole to the right. Before they left the Crimea in 1856 the British created a number of cemeteries where regiments had camped during the Siege of Sevastopol.
