The first Japanese delegation for a Universal Exposition in Europe - They arrived to Marseille on 3 April 1867 and went to Paris for the "Exposition Universelle" on 11 April 1867. Members of a group of Japanes circus performers organized by Matsui Gensui, which set out on a world tour in 1866.
