Screenshot, modified Wall Space Gallery On 11 March 2011 there was a 9.0 earthquake 130 kilometres (81 mi) off the east coast of Japan. It was followed by a tsunami that resulteed in emergencies in several nuclear power plants.
As a response to this within the photographic community Crista Dix of the Wall Space Gallery set up a website "life support Japan" where photographers could donate works and all proceeds would go to disaster relief.
