Ambrotype Charles Schwartz Ltd Inscription on case lid (black) reads: "Possession of Fujino," and "Shashin" (photograph). Inscription on back of case (red ink) reads: "Photo was taken in the Meiji year 27 (1894), on December 23 at 2pm. Aged 12 years and six months."
