Paper label on lid is address label to send the box from the Wellcome company office in Snow Hill, London, to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum, Wigmore Street, in connection with the purchase of the photographs from John Thomson's executors. Label stapled to left side "Chinese negatives bad condition" (bad condition scored through). Later Wellcome label inscribed "Case A"
