A photographer of the city streets of New York but also an educator and master printer. He printed the photographs of Robert Frank, Weegee, Duane Michals, W. Eugene Smith, Ralston Crawford, Allen Ginsberg and many others. One of his longer term photographic projects documents the Strutters New Years Brigade, one of the many groups belonging to the Philadelphia Mummers Association.
