French publisher and entrepreneur who was active in Mexico City from around 1830 until the 1860s. He published the lithograph publication "Album pintoresco de la República Mexicana" and photograph albums. He also issued stereographic views of Mexican scenery. He was also important as he published works by other photographers active in Mexico including Désiré Charnay's Album fotografico mexico and the large format photographs of Mexican types (tipos) by François Aubert.
