Portrait photographer, active 1860-1880 in Paris, worked from 9 Rue Duphot in early 1860s and later at 28 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré (1869-?) and 320 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré (ca. 1880). During the Paris Commune of 1871 he took a series of photographs of the Fire Brigade in action handling the fires.
