He began his career as a Daguerreotypist and received his instruction from Daguerre. In about 1959 he did a series of album print studies of antique arms and armour "Arsenal de Tsarskoé-Sélo".

69 then 29 quai de l'Horloge. A photog. of this name made rare views of St. Petersburg, Russia prob. in late 50s using a single-lens camera and extreme hyper-stereo; unknown whether the two men are the same.
