+ plate shows good detail of the locomotive stopped at the crossing, with the engineer posed beside the cab, and another worker to the right of the stack. A sign across the street reads "Rail Road Crossing Look Out For The Engine While The à. ings." Some people stand on a railing at the very right the station? A house of the town is at the left. The signs read correctly because this is a copy daguerreotype made by the daguerreotypist with rich detail and clarity.
