Bengal Medical Service, 1856-?1880; MRCS 1850; LSA 1850; Assistant Surgeon, 4.8.1856; Surgeon, 4.8.1868; Surgeon-Major, 1.7.1883.
In 1868, in response to Government appeals for architectural photographs he sent in a detailed descriptive report of the Jain temples at Mount Abu, accompanied by a series of stereoscopic photographs taken by himself.[1] See OIOC Photo 1000 (2085a-2099a).
