listed in city directory 69-70; went into
partnership with Franklin W. Bacon in Rochester,
71 at Bacon's gallery, partnership lasted only
one year; during this year issued the Rochester
series. 72 went back into business for himself; brother Samuel H. Carnall began working for him;
brother took over pub. photog. business in 74
