use as a basis for painting a panorama of 6,000
sq. ft. "Across the Continent", to include
frontier towns from Omaha to San Francisco along
the UPRR. No record of its completion has come
to light; 11/68 he photog. hanging of Sanford
Dougan. Was a deaf mute.
