Long, productive & varied career; issued 2,000+ fine views, many series & B/Ls, mainly of NE US such as: "Picturesque Views of the Wide, Wide World/Gems of Beauty and Art, Mountain, Valley and Stream"; "Descriptive Views", "American Views", "B & O R.R.", "Metropolitan & Suburban Scenery, Baltimore, Md.", "Baltimore & Potomac R.R. Scenery", "Philadelphia, Wilmington & Baltimore R.R.", "Art & Landscape Scenery, Central Park, NY", etc., etc. Originally took most of own views; later purchased such as Catskills prob. by Loeffler. 67 entered photog. with R.D. Ridgeley's gallery in Baltimore; met David Bachrach, Jr., both went to work as official photogs. for Naval Academy, 68; 72 returned to Baltimore and advert. himself as stereo pub., remained there until 90; 91-94, still listed in directories, but less active; may have been assoc. with Globe Art Co. and Cooperative Photoprinting Co. in 90s; in partnership with David Bachrach in Baltimore, 70s.
