 "Photographer". Brought to CA in 67 by J.D.
Whitney of the California State Geological
Survey; was intended that he'd photograph the
high country around Yosemite Valley (those areas
not recorded by Watkins in 65-66) to provide
views for the Yosemite Book which Whitney pub.
in 68; book contained 28 views, 4 by Harris and
24 by Watkins. His career prior to and after
this episode unknown.
