Drawing Master, Thomason Civil Engineering College, Roorkee 1871-85; Instructor in Photography 1873-78. Made a series of views of the Ganges Canal.
Teaching photography at the College from at least 1870. Photography had been taught in the College from 1864, ‘chiefly for the purpose of instructing the natives in the art, to enable them to show the progress of public works.’
