*Ramón y Cajal was by profession a histologist, and co-Nobelist in 06 in medicine. On faculties of several universities and founded Cajal Institute. Pub. major works on the nervous system, and pioneered use of photog. in this field. An avid amateur, he took thousands of photos and made many pubs., including "Photography of Colors" in 12. B. Petilla de Arag˘n, Spain 52; D. Madrid 34.
