Well known photographer and newspaper columnist in Fiji where he was a Public Relations Photographer and Officer with the Fiji Colonial Government. He accompanied Royal visits and recorded the everyday life of Fiji with many of his photographs appearing on stamps and publications.

In addition to his photography he wrote a column on fishing in a local newspaper for about thirty years and published a book on the subject With Hook Line and Snorkel in the South Pacific (Sydney, Pacific Publications, 1969).
