A Biographical Dictionary of 19th Century Photographers in South and South-East Asia
Chaplain of Dibrugarh, Assam
Joined the Bengal Photographic Society in Sep 1862. Some of his photographs were shown at the society’s meeting of 28 April 1863. Asked to help Dr DeFabeck in photographing the tribes of Assam in response to Government request: ‘You will be so good as to obtain from that gentleman [DeFabeck], and also from the Revd. Mr Higg, should he consent to lend his assistance, specimens of portraits taken by them, and submit them to this office.’
