[6-8] *"Photographed and Published by..." issued many fine series: "Southern Scenery"; "NC Landscape & Art Views"; "Black Mountain Scenery"; "Morgantown, NC & Vicinity"; "St. Augustine & Vicinity, Florida"; "Characteristic Sketches of Southern Life"; mostly on yellow/yellow RMs; #s seen to #508; wide variety of mostly rural scy. & groups, river steamer, beach, bleeding for turpentine, cypress swamp, cotton fields, etc., rare pirated views, 1 seen of CA, 1 of NYC. One of best and most prolific of southern post-war photogs.; also advert. his Italian Bee Hives, etc. Succeeded by W.T. Robertson.
