Hungarian photographer who studied science in Munich and geography and ethnology in Budapest. He was probably in Paris in 1853-1854 and learnt photography and the waxed paper process. In 1856 he went to the USA and from there to Cuba and Venezuela (March 1857), and Mexico before returning to Europe in 1858. Four albums of his photographs are known each containing between 40 and 47 photographs.
