John Falconer, British Library A Biographical Dictionary of 19th Century Photographers in South and South-East Asia | Commercial, India
Listed as ‘Resident photographer, Ajmer’, 1883-87.[1]
In 1882 Baudesson took nearly 100 photographs of Rajputana (Chitor, Eklingji, Nagda, Udaipur, Abu) for the Archaeological Survey of India, many signed and dated in the negative. A number of these photographs also appear in the Chitor volume of H. H. Cole's Preservation of Ancient Monuments in India 1884-5. This is probably the same figure as the ‘O. S. Bourdessier’, who is listed as a photographer at Kampti in the 1881-82 editions of Thacker’s Directory.
