Los Angeles, CA, US
[0-1] "Publisher"; issued fine but rare series
of b&w & colored lithoviews of southern CA area,
mostly unusual subjects such as parades, fairs,
#s seen to #371; well-made, reproduced on
quality stock by halftone; also issued
real-photo views which are even rarer, two
reported of Riverside, CA on RMs. Active
~00-15. Some refs. locate him also in "Leipsic,
CA" but no such town ever existed. Much more
likely that the lithoviews were manufactured in
Leipsic, Germany, which has been a printing
center for centuries. Actual photographer of
the views uncertain.
