Artist statement:
I am primarily interested in the metaphysics of the moment and light and try to approach documentary and street photography from a completely artistic angle. My photographs are characterized by bold forms and shapes often contrasting with or hiding the actual subject of the picture. Nevertheless, they almost always express more than just a graphical abstraction. I also experiment with wide-angle object distortions in still life compositions either constructed or found. I work exclusively with the traditional 35 mm film and print manually on gelatin silver fiber based paper.Preparing biographies
