Germon in Philadelphia, PA, 50s-70s] B. Chester Co., PA 21, D. 87. Learned daguerreotypy from M.P. Simons 44; partnership with Germon 46-55; worked early (51) with paper printing; exhibited at Institute of American Manufacures 46-53; sold out to William Bell in 59 & became dealer in paintings, frames, & mirrors. "...Stereo Photographs"; listed Phila. 47-68, listed also in Washington as early as 58. Issued "Views in and about Washington City, 1859", on SCMs; "Views in and about Philadelphia", one view seen of Fairmount Water Works on SCM, both fine but rare early series, often nicely tinted but many badly faded; some but not all with CR notation; made stereo dag. portraits while in Phila
