The Lafayette Studio in London was from the late 19th and early 20th century one of the key photographic establishments for high society. The studio was founded by James Stack Lauder (aka James Lafayette) and won a prodigious number of photographic medals at International exhibitions and competitions. A collection of the photographs is held by the V&A in London.
