gallery in Vallejo, but soon sold out to partner
and returned to Sacramento; by 64 had taken over
R.H. Vance's gallery in Virginia City, NV;
opened studio for Sutterley Brothers in Ruby
City, ID, with same firm, opened a studio in
Salt Lake City; while it was being constructed
operated a tent studio in nearby Camp Douglas;
in spring of 66 started what proved to be a fine
business in the new gallery, receipts amounting
