[John Allan Brock] Started photog. in Trenton, Ont. as Brock & Brown (with Joseph H. Brown) about 69; then on his own in Trenton until at least 71. By 74 he was in Port Hope, Ont. and by 77 in Belleville, Ont. About 82 or 83 he moved to Brandon, Man, but his eastern studio continued (see Brock & Co.). He continued in his Brandon studio until the early 90s, although he spent a few months in 86 in Vancouver, B.C. While operating his Brandon studio, he also had one in Los Angeles, CA where he may have gone after leaving Brandon in 93. Only stereos seen are from Port Hope (J.A. Brock) and from Belleville (Brock & Co.). No western stereos have been located.
