Medical practitioner in Newburyport (Mass, USA). He took Daguerreotypes of Newburyport in October 1839 which is shortly after the announcement of the Daguerreotype process in the USA. Seven Daguerreotypes are included in the collections of the Historical Society Of Old Newbury, 98 High Street
Newburyport, MA 01950, USA. Of these five are visible and the other two have no visible image on the plates.
