related to I.S. Halsey, photog. and dentist
located in Volcano, 67; partner in Halsey &
Scripture, proprietors of the Cosmopolitan Art &
Photograph Gallery, 523 Kearny St., San
Francisco, 68; presumably it was here that
Halsey met I.T. Coffin; although assoc. with
Coffin from ~70 through the mid-to-late 70s,
Halsey also worked in Grass Valley
intermittantly, ~75-77; also was a photographic
colorist. A photograph of Halsey and his
brother George M. Halsey (a Dutch Flat
blacksmith) exist; D. 2/29/20.
