photog. in 62 but may have worked as early as 60
or 61; operated alone until 95, except for
partnership with F.P. Kenyon prob. in New
London, located at 59 State St., 72. In 95, his
son Isaac C. Bishop joined him; firm went under
name of Giles Bishop & Son until Giles D. 09;
thereafter ran as Bishop's Studio until early
