Stereographs project Business locations Yellow Springs, OH, US [7-8] "Seller and Publisher"; issued several
series: Palestine, Hunter's Camp, Italy,
Statuary, Germany, Switzerland, DC, VA. B/Ls
are typically 10-25 views. All examples of work
seen are pirated and on CMs. In spite of the
astonishingly wide range and generally good
quality, examples are scarce [9]. Relationship
between G.W. & O.C. Large unknown; each seems to
have operated separately. Both used identical
red CMs with B/Ls; only O.C. is known to have
pub. any local views. T.K. Treadwell & William C. Darrah (Compiled by), Wolfgang, Sell (Updated by), 11/28/2003, Photographers of the United States of America, (National Stereoscopic Association) |
