| Dates: | 1839 - 1928 | Active: | UK | Frank Mason Good is best known for his series of views of the Middle East taken on four separate tours of the area in the 1860‘s and 1870‘s. He first travelled to Egypt as assistant to Francis Frith in late 1857. He joined the Photographic Society in 1864, and in 1880 served as a judge of its annual exhibition. He lived at Hartley Wintney, Winchfield, Hampshire.

Deal, Kent, 6-10-39; moved his family to Hants, late 70s or early 71 but retained his London address also; elected to the Photographic Society of London, 64; first tour to Middle East took place during the winter of 66-67, second tour was winter 68-69 and prob. part of that spring in Eygpt; third tour was winter of 71-72 and fourth tour was winter/spring 75; D. 6-28-28.
