Autochromist active during the First World War and concentrating on the French Army but including the colonial forces from overseas and civilian life amidst the chaos of war. His work is the tradition of Paul Castelnau (1880–1944) and Jean-Baptiste Tournassoud (1866-1951). His autochromes of Mount Athos are in Albert Kahn Museum in Boulogne-Billancourt.
