Active in Yuma (AZ) and moved to California in 1876 and worked in Pasadena and Los Angeles - he traveled widely. Take care not to confuse with his cousin Robert K. Bonine.

Bonine] "Photo."; "Tent Photographer"; rare [2] PA series, "Views Among the Alleghenies" on yellow/yellow SCMs, prob. from late 60s; scarce "Views in the Sunny South" series, mostly FL, 74; "Stereoscopic Views", rare of CA, scarce of AZ in 80s; Indians, Yuma, Ehrenberg, and vicinity, Pinal county; Lake County views are among only a handful known for area during 70's; all reported are of farms, vineyards, orchards; also made CDV/cab. photos. In PA first, to FL 74; to CA 76; based in Pasadena, CA where he had a citrus farm; traveled extensively using a photo van; active Lake County, summer 78; Mendocino 79, Yuma, 81, 85; photo activity slowed in 80s, spent most of later career in Pasadena; details of relationship with R.K.
