In 1906 Darius Kinsey and his wife Tabitha gave up their photographic studio in Seattle (WA, USA) and decided to concentrate on documenting the logging industry and the landscapes of the American northwest. Darius took the photographs and Tabitha developed and printed them. A collection of over 4,700 of their negatives and 600 prints is in the Whatcom Museum (121 Prospect St., Bellingham, WA 98225).

home; wife did developing and printing of his
views; 08 opened a studio in Seattle.

Stereoscopic Views", first series, CR 02, second
series CR 03; specialty was views of logging,
loggers, etc., #'s to 845; issued views of
Yosemite, Niagara Falls, Washington, DC, most or
all prob. bought or pirated; pub. a limited line
of rare southern CA views; also worked in SI
