[7-9] [Charles F. Bracy; also worked in partnership with C.H. Colby in Meredith & Ashland] "Photographer"; views rare [3], scy., one of train wreck, worked mostly in SI formats which are much more common. Was resident of Warren, apparently befriended Amos F. Clough, as he assisted Clough during the C.H. Hitchcock expedition on the summit of Mt. Washington in winter of 70-71. Clough moved to Springfield in 71, and may have suggested Bracy's studio there. Was an early summer resident of Lake Morey (Fairlee) and his studio there prob. only operated through the summer. Had at least 3 other studios, in Haverhill, Wells River, and Woodsville, all operated by J.J. Towle by 98; 00, managed the Glen Falls House, at Lake Morey; listed in Ashland 72-84; Fairlee 89-02; Haverhill 92-93; Newbury 85-98; Springfield 73-76; Warren 70-83; Wells River 85-98; Woodsville 92-93. Relationship if any to W.H. Bracy who worked in Great Falls, NH in 60s unknown; B. 45; D. 15.
