Illingworth in Sioux City, IA early, brief partnership with Eugene Brandt in Colorado Springs ~75.] "Landscape Photographer", "Photographed and Published by..."; Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs; "Rocky Mountain Views", "Scenes on The Line of The D & RG"; "Views on the line of the A.T. & S.F. R.R.", Santa Fe, NM views, on CMs, some pub. in Colorado Springs; some of his views also issued by B.W. Kilburn of NH without attribution; made fine CO scy., #s seen to 1100s, plants, animals, tourist groups, etc.; early views from IA on SCMs to #43; Dakota Territory views, Indians, etc.; some views credited to "Groves", poss. R.W. Groves of Pueblo; some have autograph signature. Also made SI formats. Negs. passed to F.A. Nims who in turn passed them on Cunningham & Co. B. 33, Chautauqua Co., NY; in army during CW; in IA late 60s, moved to Colorado Springs in 72 and had studio there until D. 80. Studio listed under Mrs. Gurnsey's name 81-82.
