Was "called" to be a missionary & went to Burmah; while there took a series "Stereoscopic Views of People & Scenes of Burmah", 41 views, on both RMs & CMs; these were pub. in Boston in 74 for the benefit of the Woman's Baptist Missionary Society. Later took another series of ~60 views which were pub. In 77. Some views show missionary activities, but most are well-done, sensitive records of the country & people. Because of their quality and the scarcity of other views of the area, they
sold well not only to church people but to the general public & are not uncommon; some on orange RMs.

(Alan Griffiths, 3 March 2020) In Treadwell referred to Rev. Archibald Bunker the forename is an error and it should be Rev. Alonzo Bunker who took stereoviews in Burma. T.K. Treadwell & William C.
