He recorded the road building to create wider streets and boulevards, bridges, and the destruction of the older city monuments to make way for a modern city. He also photographed the renovation of Church Saint Vincent de Paul (Marseille) and copies of these photographs are in the collection of the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam, Holland).Preparing biographies
