(Alan Griffiths, 17 July 2022) The LSC catalogue included photographs by William Russell Sedgfield, William H. Grundy, Samuel E. Poulton, William England, Thomas Richard Williams and presumably others. As the identifications of these photographers were concealed, intentionally or unintentionally, it can be difficult to establish who took the photographs.
 
[5-9] *Major early pub. based in London, office briefly in NYC. "Statuary in Exhibition, Photographed and Published by London Stereoscopic and Photograph Company, 579 Broadway, N. Y."; "America in the Stereoscope", photog. by William England for...; 534 Broadway"; "North American series" by William England, U.S. & Canadian scy. and architecture, Great Western Railway views, pub. in several formats, ~59-60; views of the International Exhibit of 62, on SCMs; over a 100,000 different views of famous bldgs., and scenic points of interest all over Great Britain, on the continent, and in the Middle East; view on the Hudson River Railway, NY, tinted, ~58; some yellow tissue SCMs, on rev. Agent: Jas. L. Warner, Broadway, NY; often used blindstamps in a wide variety of views they sold, whether or not they produced them. SEE NSA monograph on the company
